Lilah has been doing things her own way for the past six years. No pack, no bonds, just herself. The people in her life haven’t been very supportive about it, not broadly, but she’s been making it work.

That is, until she goes into heat unexpectedly in an airplane flying halfway around the world.

With no one to turn to and no other option available, Lilah prepares for a lonely 12 hours of misery miles above the Earth. And then her seatmates, who happen to be two extremely attractive alpha women, offer her some help.

A heat pack isn’t usually formed impromptu in an airplane, but Lilah is desperate, and a temporary heat pack could let her find some kind of relief. But as she starts to realize that her feelings are more than transient, she’ll have to decide whether she wants to open herself up to the possibility of new love, even if it means potentially losing herself again.
